"Hay Field in Summer", 11 x 14 inch, oil on linen panel, en plein air/studio, August 2022

On summer vacation, there was a great field down the road with bails of hay.  The view of the grass stalks in the foreground caught my attention as a before and after with the hay bail in the background. Most of this was captured en plein air, and then completed in studio as my vacation had to come to and end before finishing!
